Soak the almonds overnight and peel them in the morning. Blend coarsely in a coffee grinder, food processor, or chopper with the oatmeal.
Transfer oatmeal to a saucepan and add all the remaining ingredients. Use double or triple the quantity of milk depending upon level of dryness in the body. If you have difficulty digesting milk, substitute with almond milk instead.
Place the saucepan on medium heat and bring to a boil. Lower the temperature, stir frequently, and cook for about 5 minutes.
