Working with Andrea was a dream.

She not only helped us to introduce Ayurvedic recipes and cooking techniques into our diet, but opened the door to our better understanding the Ayurvedic approach to overall body-mind-spirit health. Her initial health analysis was beyond comprehensive and along every step of our work with Andrea she delivered this same above-and-beyond service and attention to detail. We are now more aware of what we're eating and how we're feeling throughout the day. As a result of working with Andrea we've shifted some bad habits, made some easy and welcome substitutions to our diet, and re-committed to our health goals. I am forever changed!

I already love to cook and eat healthily, but Happy Eater put a new spin on my food mindset and 'level up' what I want to put into my body. There is magic in Ayurvedic cooking that I believe everyone should consider trying. Why? It is so balanced, so nourishing, and kind of easy once you 'get the hang of it'. In just a few short weeks of incorporating 2-3 Ayurvedic suppers each week, I have lost weight, improved my digestion, and I feel happier! The energy of the food and combinations of spices are making my doshas happy and balanced! I wake up easier in the morning, have less aches and pains, and my body just feels good. Ayurvedic nutrition and cooking will get you back in touch with your body and with food. This connection is so powerful and healing, that I will enroll in future programs... anything Andrea is teaching!

I find myself in a new chapter of my life.

I’m down to the weight I was in 2005. I am where I want to be. Each step you take is a new beginning, and there are a lot of things I’ve kept that will be new habits. Your cooking classes are great. Very easy to follow. I love the way you teach us how to use spices with the ghee, and now I am very creative and confident in my cooking—both with, and without—recipes.

I’m a Happier Eater!

The cooking classes were so helpful. Especially for me, because I don’t normally cook. Andrea provided the recipes and instructions ahead of time so we could shop for and prepare the ingredients and make sure we had the kitchen equipment needed.  It was so helpful to be led step-by-step through the entire cooking process. And Andrea has weaned me off from using the microwave! I have a newfound joy in cooking, my digestion has improved, and I've lost a couple of pounds!

It has been wonderful to feel like myself almost all the time now.

They flipped over these dishes.

I had my pilates teacher and her husband over for dinner last night. They are superb cooks, so it can be a little intimidating cooking for them. They are both plant-based, and they spend a lot of time in the kitchen, just like you. I made the Thai Carrot Soup and added orange juice, and the Buckwheat Soba Salad, and they flipped over these dishes. He kept sniffing the sauce. He wanted to savor all the senses.

Working with Andrea during the Nutrition for Visionaries Program was eye-opening.

I am a health coach with a background in nutrition so I know a lot about food.  Until taking Andrea’s course though, I didn’t truly appreciate the concept of eating for better digestion. Most people focus on eating better to lose weight, which never actually works. By focusing more on your personal dosha, digestion, and food pairing, you eat the way your body works. Amazingly, weight loss occurred without counting calories or  going on a diet, and my tummy issues, though mild, have been nonexistent.

Andrea is an excellent teacher:  patient, understanding, and calm. Her teaching style is interactive as she asks questions to help her gauge where each of her students is in their journey and whether they are “digesting” the material.  

If you are considering a diet changes or a new diet, talk to Andrea first, and take Nutrition for Visionaries. It will change your life!

Awareness was the biggest benefit

You sprinkle in enough Ayurvedic life coaching into the cooking … I came into the class thinking I was learning a cooking style, but I learned that it is not a cooking style … it’s digestion, so my mindset switched to digestion, and from ‘lets plan meals to satisfy hunger, to lets plan meals that are digestible!’ It helped me to embrace our food sensitivities because I realized it is not an allergy; it’s not that you are going to die from it; but the problem is that your body can’t digest those foods. Just like the doctor said: this is my DNA.
